About The Artist:
Chad Goodpastor, known as Chad G, is a primarily self-taught lampworker who began melting glass in 1995. A Chicago native, he has produced a wide range of glass art including pipes, pendants, marbles, and bottle stoppers. His work is inspired by nature, music, and art, and his skill is rooted in years of experimentation and practice.
Now based in Southern Illinois with his family, Chad G continues to refine his craft. His work has been featured in books, magazines, and galleries across the United States, earning recognition for both artistry and technical precision.
