About the Artists:

Doug Zolbert, based in Michigan, is known for his precise encalmo line work and refined mini tube designs. His technical approach to glasswork has made his pieces instantly recognizable.

David Colton, originally from Westfield, MA and now residing in Westhampton, MA, creates abstract borosilicate sculptures and functional pieces, often incorporating hidden design elements. In 2019, he became the first glass pipe maker to receive the Rakow Commission from the Corning Museum of Glass, placing his work into a permanent museum collection. Colton’s art has also been featured in New Glass Now at the Corning Museum of Glass and is included in The Dr. Seuss Museum’s permanent collection. With roots in Fort Collins, CO, where he began blowing glass in 1995, Colton has exhibited widely, including a solo show at Easy Street Gallery in Brooklyn in 2009.
