About the Artists
Salt Glass began his flameworking career in 2001 in Austin, Texas. Known for pioneering the sculptural “Salt style,” his work merges technical precision with organic, surreal forms. His pieces have been featured in major publications including The Wall Street Journal, Hot Breath Magazine, and Glass Aficionado, and are held in collections worldwide.
Micah Evans, originally from Washington State, has travelled widely to study and collaborate with artists and designers across the country. From 2012 to 2015, he served as the first flameworker in the glass residency at Penland School of Crafts. His work balances traditional craft with sculptural innovation, and he continues to create from his studio in Austin, Texas.
