About the Artist

Erik Anderson began his lampworking career in Northern California in 1996 under the guidance of “Tattoo John” Lloyd. He later spent eight years in Hawaii, where he helped establish the glass pipe movement in the state and earned recognition at the Amsterdam Cannabis Cup. Inspired by Hawaii’s diverse natural beauty, Erik expanded into solid sculpture and jewellery design while collaborating with renowned glass artists. In 2006, he founded Anderson Glassworks Studio in Maui before eventually returning to the Pacific Northwest, where he continues to create award-winning glasswork that blends functional artistry with sculptural innovation.
